Since 2023, April 17-24 was declared by the National Council of the NDFP as the Week of Remembrance and Tribute to Heroes and Martyrs of the Filipino People. In keeping, we are reposting Liberation’s special issue (with a new cover) which came out in 2023, the 50th anniversary of the NDFP. This features some of the life stories of the heroes and martyrs of national democratic revolution: Melito Glor, Coronacion “Waling-waling” Chiva, Jennifer “Ka Maria” Cariño, Eduardo Olbara, Romulo Jallores, Efren Martires, Rachelle Mae Palang, Crispin S. Tagamolila, Antonio S. Tagamolila, Gregorio “Ka Roger” Rosal & Leoncio “Ka Parago” Pitao, Eleazar “Ka Chen” Templado, Kerima Lorena Tariman & Efren “Parts Bagani” Peñaranda, Ericson Acosta
