The Christians for National Liberation expresses full condemnation of the recent and unprovoked missile attacks of the Zionist “Israel” and the imperialist United States against the Islamic Republic of Iran, on February 28, which killed one of its leaders, and left 100 of its children at an elementary school dead. There has been a continuous air strike in Lebanon, April 7, killing 254 civilians- all of this happened soon after the US carried out a military strike in Venezuela, and kidnapping its President, Nicolas Maduro.

This fatal military aggression against an independent nation’s sovereignty put millions of civilians at risk, not only in Iran but in the West Asia region, and flagrantly defies all international laws, norms and treaties; and jeopardizes shared values where the international community stands.
Once again, the imperialist US revealed itself incapable of respecting one’s sovereignty as these insolent military strikes were carried out amid diplomatic talks between US and Iran regarding Iran’s civilian nuclear capabilities and US economic sanctions against the nation. While Iran reported significant progress, the US proved that these were mere act of deception, and has always sought to impose global hegemony, not withholding aggression if they deem necessary.
The operation against Iran, called “Operation Epic Fury” was formerly named “Shield of Judea” to instigate religious hysteria and to further hatred, warmongering, and racism against Arab states and Muslim people. This comes in a time of continued Zionist and imperialist genocide against the people of Palestine. US also seeks to build a “Board of Peace”, an international “peacemaking” organization alternative to the United Nations, in line with the myth of Trump “ending wars”. But the recent American-Zionist aggression and heinous crimes uncovers their true hegemonic desires.
We stand in solidarity with our Muslim siblings and the free-people of Iran in condemning this
imperialist aggression, tyranny,
and gross assault of international law.
These imperialist wars have erupted and triggered compounding crises in the Philippines. These include fuel and oil shocks, burdensome excise taxes, and the skyrocketing of basic commodity prices. Together, these have deepened the suffering of Filipinos who are already in precarious conditions—worsened further by bureaucrat capitalism and persistent corruption, leaving many people neglected and struggling to survive.
We stand in solidarity with our Muslim siblings and the free-people of Iran in condemning this imperialist aggression, tyranny, and once-again gross assault of international law. In the face of these brutal attacks, the CNL acknowledges that Iran has the right to defend itself and its people—their sovereignty and dignity—through counter-attacks targeted to its aggressors, US and Israel, including their military bases. Fascist maniac Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu must be held accountable for their barbaric and terrorist aggression.
Standing against US imperialism is the way for
the world to back from the shackles of endless and worthless imperialist wars.
We call on the Filipino people, including migrant workers in the West Asia, to stand with the free people of Iran and the whole world in their resistance to the US imperialism. As Filipino people, we must share the same urgency to resist and dismantle all US imperialist force in the country that undermines our very own sovereignty and jeopardizes our security as it provokes war against China. We must resist and eliminate all US imperialist presence, including their military bases and facilities, missiles and military arsenal, and troops and presence in our lands and seas. We must strengthen our demand to abrogate the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA), the Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA), the Mutual Defense Treaty (MDT) and all unequal military treaties with the US and push for an independent foreign policy.
It is clear that across the world, the ultimate threat to the people’s security and dignity is the yoke of US imperialism. Standing against US imperialism is the way for the world to back from the shackles of endless and worthless imperialist wars. Thus, we must unite with great urgency with all democratic and anti-imperialist forces in the world in resisting and dismantling imperialism. For us in the Christians for National Liberation, we find our only hope to achieving genuine global peace through revolutionary wars and the people’s struggle for their liberation. ###
Down with US imperialism!
