The revolutionary movement led by the Communist Party of the Philippines begins the year with the launch of the rectification movement to correct its errors to further advance the revolutionary struggle. It also becomes an opportunity to celebrate the victories and gains in achieved by the revolutionary mass organizations in building the revolutionary united front against imperialism, feudalism, and bureaucrat capitalism.
